staying at this charming hotel made walking to nearby attractions like the Old Venetian Harbor and the stunning Nautical Museum of Crete incredibly easy. The friendly staff always offered great dining recommendations that made my experience even more delightful.

Casa Delfino charmed me completely. The location in Old Town made it easy to explore the area's shops and restaurants. I loved the included breakfast. Fresh pastries, homemade treats, and delicious coffee every morning in a pretty courtyard set the tone for the day. The staff were friendly and genuinely eager to help with anything I needed. They arranged dinner reservations and offered fantastic recommendations. The rooftop bar served stunning views of the harbor, perfect for evening relaxation. However, my room was a bit cramped, particularly the bathroom. It felt tight with the family of four. Additionally, the steep stairs to the first room were a concern for safety, especially at night. Shifting to one level was necessary for comfort. Despite these issues, the comfort of the bed and the overall décor still won me over. I'd recommend careful room selection if traveling with mobility issues. While it felt pricey, the ambiance and exceptional service made it worthwhile.

The only downside was the lack of an elevator in the older section, which could be a challenge for some guests.

The hotel, a former villa, exudes quiet elegance with sweeping marble staircases and generously sized rooms that enhance the overall luxurious experience.

Getting back and forth from the parking area can be a hassle if you rent a car, especially if you don’t have phone reception to request the golf cart service. An actual key for the room is required, making it a hassle to carry around and easy to misplace. The room temperature control can be tricky. without individual air conditioning, nights can get stuffy, and you may find yourself opting to leave doors open, which brings noise from the lively surroundings inside.
